Founder & Support Worker (Gold Coast & Brisbane)

Hi! My name is Sebastian, and I’m passionate about embracing the beauty of life and individuality. Growing up on the Gold Coast has shaped who I am, from hiking in the hinterlands to catching waves as a kid. My love for adventure has taken me skiing, skydiving, and more. I’ve always been a people person, enjoying the feeling of belonging—whether in a team or a community.

Where Support Started For Me:
My journey in support work began seven years ago as a volunteer at the ‘TACQ’ event, where I provided 24/7 care to young teenagers. This experience made me realise that my purpose is to help others and build a sense of community that feels like family. After completing my double degree in Business and Commerce, I returned to my true calling—support work—and founded Access Your Ability Solutions (AYAS) to create a community where participants and carers feel valued and connected.

What Support Work Means To Me:
For me, support is about helping people grow and thrive. It’s a simple yet powerful way to make a lasting difference in people’s lives, and I’m dedicated to providing Autism Support Service in Gold Coast and Cerebral Palsy Support Gold Coast.

My Mission With AYAS:
At AYAS, we focus on compassionate, consistent, and personal care. Our mission is to build trust, connection, and meaningful relationships between participants and carers. I wanted to create a space where both feel valued and empowered, where support goes beyond the basics and becomes transformative.

My Experience In Support:
I’ve had the privilege of working with over 30 individuals with diverse abilities, helping them achieve their goals. My experience in hospitality and tourism, including work on Tangalooma Island, taught me the importance of making each day special—something I strive to do in my support work.

Qualifications:
I hold a Certificate IV in Disability Support, Double Degree in Business and Commerce, First Aid + CPR certificates, Advanced First Aid, Epilepsy training, and NDIS modules.

At AYAS, we’re dedicated to building a compassionate community where everyone feels supported and empowered. Our goal is to make a difference, one person at a time.

What Support Work Means To Me:
Support work holds a special place in my heart. Over the past 3-4 years, I’ve had the honour of supporting individuals with various abilities, including Autism, ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, Muscular Dystrophy, and Epilepsy. Helping people grow and achieve their goals is truly rewarding.

I’ve worked with more than ten individuals, gaining experience in hoists, manual transfers, peg feeding, personal care, and supporting health and life goals.

Qualifications:
I hold First Aid, Advanced First Aid, Epilepsy certificates, and NDIS modules + checks to ensure I provide the best care possible.

I look forward to continuing this journey and making a positive impact in people’s lives.

Senior Support Worker (Gold Coast & Brisbane)

Hello! My name is Marcos.

I’ve always been passionate about helping others, which led me to complete two years of nursing before switching to Speech Pathology to broaden how I can support people. Studying while working as a Support Worker has been incredibly fulfilling, allowing me to make a positive impact every day.

Support Worker – Gold Coast & Brisbane

Hey, I’m Jo! Born and raised on the Gold Coast, I’ve always valued time with my family and spending time making music. I love a great book, time in nature and good vibes. I completed a degree in Engineering and worked in the field but I realised my true passion was in helping people grow, not just guiding businesses in mechanical. That’s what led me to support work, where I can make a direct and meaningful impact every day.
